Linen Prayer Journal
The one habit that has done more for my faith than any sermon, podcast, or retreat.

The story
Writing to God in the morning. Not a devotional plan. Not a checklist. Just a journal and a pen and whatever I actually need to say. The research on expressive writing is extensive: it reduces anxiety, increases emotional clarity, and improves problem-solving. But that's not why I do it. I do it because it turns a formless worry into a sentence, and a sentence into something I can hand over. The linen cover matters to me — not for vanity, but because the object signals intention. This isn't a random notebook. This is where I show up.
