The story

Most people don't realize their overhead lights are tricking their brain into thinking it's still afternoon at 10pm. Cool white LEDs suppress melatonin for hours. Here's what I switched to — a sunset lamp. It shifts from warm amber to deep violet, exactly the way real evening light moves. I put it on every night around 7. No more lying awake. No more that wired-but-tired feeling. Your body already knows how to wind down. It just needs the right light to start the process.
